The Crosspoint 10100 from Proxim combines a MultiPoint client with a WiFi Access Point, offering a versatile solution for remote outdoor WiFi hotspots. This device integrates a near-line-of-sight Point-to-Multipoint Client into an ORiNOCO® Access Point, making it ideal for WISP or industrial monitoring applications. Operating in the wideband 5 GHz spectrum with a 2.4 GHz Access Point, the Crosspoint 10100 leverages 2×2 MIMO technology to deliver up to 672 Mbps. It features an integrated antenna for 5 GHz, with two connectors for 2.4 GHz, or four connectors supporting both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. The device supports channel sizes of 20, 40, and 80 MHz, allowing for flexible deployment across various environments.
