Seamless Surveillance on Tenerife Tram Line

The Tenerife Tram needed high-bandwidth, mobile connectivity to support real-time video surveillance across its tram cars and stations. Proxim Wireless implemented a point-to-multipoint network, enabling rapid deployment of CCTV cameras without the need for costly wiring. The solution also provided seamless video feeds from trams moving at high speeds, thanks to Proxim’s WORP protocol and FastConnect™ mobility. In addition to security, the network supports passenger Wi-Fi and other applications, offering a cost-effective, high-performance solution for the tram's surveillance needs.
