Rajant kinetic mesh helps opencast mine in Brazil

A Brazilian iron ore producer faced the challenge of safely operating heavy machinery in hazardous dam areas without onsite personnel. Partnering with SITECH Brazil and Rajant, they implemented a teleoperation solution using Rajant's Kinetic Mesh® network, enabling the remote control of 17 vehicles, including dozers, excavators, and trucks. Operators located 23 kilometers away controlled the machinery, while drones provided real-time monitoring. The system allowed for simultaneous, automated operations, significantly enhancing safety and productivity. Since its installation in 2019, the Rajant network has performed reliably, requiring no adjustments since 2021.
