Rajant kinetic mesh safes lives using automated robotics

After a catastrophic collapse in a 100-year-old limestone mine in the U.S., Rajant, PBE Group, and Australian Droid & Robot (ADR) joined forces to safely inspect and restore the site using autonomous robotics. The Rajant Kinetic Mesh® network enabled seamless communication for ten ADR Explora XL unmanned robots, equipped with LiDAR and HD video, to navigate the debris and transmit real-time data back to the surface. Covering 1.7 kilometers underground, the inspection marked the deepest autonomous mine inspection in history. This rapid, unmanned operation allowed for safe, remote assessment, expediting remediation and future-proofing the mine's communication infrastructure.
